AISHWARYA ARUMBAKKAM 2015

Before there was time, there was the dark ocean, endless in all directions. The

unexpected appearance of matter, light or conscious thought, triggered the

birth of life. Gradually all that exists began to evolve from the formless ocean.

By the ocean, where time is distilled to a primal rhythm evocative of our

origins, one can feel the presence of the greater, indefinable chaos one was

born from and will disappear into.

Aishwarya Arumbakkam is a photographer and filmmaker based in Mumbai, India. She studied Film and Video Communication Design at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad including a six-month exchange programme at École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, Paris.
